Tucked away on a side street, it’s easy to miss Bev’s Baps- but it would be your loss. It’s a neat and tidy establishment, but take away only.

The menu is divided into Baps, Burgers, Jacket Potatoes- but the Pie and Peas sound especially tempting.

I ordered an egg bap and a cup of tea. The roll was soft, and contained 2 eggs- unfortunately one was hard on the outside but soft on the inside, and the other was soft throughout, which jettisoned yolk all over my trousers.
